US Army Awards Common Infrared Countermeasure (CIRCM) Contract to Northrop Grumman Corporation’s Land & Self Protection Systems Division


Aug 31, 2015 – San Diego, CA (August 31, 2015) – The U.S. Army on Friday awarded Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) a $35,372,762 cost-plus-fixed-fee, fixed-price incentive, and firm-fixed-price hybrid contract with options for engineering and manufacturing development and low-rate initial production of the Common Infrared Countermeasure (CIRCM) program.

Daylight Solutions, Inc. ( serves as an industry partner to Northrop Grumman (along with Selex ES of Edinburgh Scotland) for the CIRCM program to provide protection of rotary-wing and medium fixed-wing aircraft against emerging infrared missile threats of today and tomorrow using directed laser jamming capabilities.
