US Army Awards Common Infrared Countermeasure (CIRCM) Contract to Northrop Grumman Corporation’s Land & Self Protection Systems Division

Aug 31, 2015 – San Diego, CA (August 31, 2015) – The U.S. Army on Friday awarded Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) a $35,372,762 cost-plus-fixed-fee, fixed-price incentive, and firm-fixed-price hybrid contract with options for engineering and manufacturing development and low-rate initial production of the Common Infrared Countermeasure (CIRCM) program.

Daylight Solutions, Inc. (www.daylightsolutions.com) serves as an industry partner to Northrop Grumman (along with Selex ES of Edinburgh Scotland) for the CIRCM program to provide protection of rotary-wing and medium fixed-wing aircraft against emerging infrared missile threats of today and tomorrow using directed laser jamming capabilities.
