Daylight Solutions introduces its Swept Sensorâ„¢ OEM module for multi-species molecular detection and analysis

Jan 21, 2008 – Poway, CA (January 21, 2008) – Daylight Solutions, Inc., a manufacturer of advanced molecular detection and imaging solutions, today announced the introduction of its Swept Sensorâ„¢ OEM module. The Swept Sensorâ„¢ detects and discriminates among multiple species of molecules simultaneously, allowing for real-world applications. By integrating its miniaturized, broadly-tunable, solid-state mid-infrared laser sources with high-speed, low noise detection and embedded digital signal processing (DSP), the company has set a new standard for state-of-the-art performance. The module is battery-operated for portable, hand held applications, or for applications requiring remote location sensing.

Daylight’s Swept Sensor™ is designed to meet a range of customer-specific requirements. It is available as both an OEM module or as a stand-alone system. The Swept Sensor™ is ideal for applications in industrial and environmental monitoring, medical diagnostics, and security and defense.
