This CNN report on explosive detection includes an interview with Daylight customer, Oak Ridge National Lab. In the report, four of Daylight’s lasers can be seen integrated into the detection system. The high power and broad tunability of Daylight Solution’s mid to long wave infrared lasers provides a possible solution for detecting explosives from a safe distance. -

Northrop Grumman Delivers CIRCM System to U.S. Army Ahead of Schedule
Northrop Grumman has delivered the first of eight Common Infrared Countermeasures (CIRCM) missile defense systems to the U.S. Army two months ahead of schedule. CIRCM is a lightweight, low-cost, highly reliable, laser-based countermeasure system designed to work with missile warning systems for rotary wing, tilt-rotor and small fixed-wing aircraft across the military services. Northrop Grumman is developing its solution with its partners SELEX Galileo and Daylight Solutions. -
